A mongoose is a carnivorous animal. This means that it will seek out other animals as its prey. A mongoose will not necessarily seek out a snake in particular to attack. For example, if the snake is backed into a corner, it will have less room to maneuver than the mongoose. This may give the mammal the edge it needs to win the fight against the serpent.
Can A Snake Kill A Mongoose?
